About Me

I have been playing for sequence and ballroom dancing since the early 1970s, having started in and around my hometown of Derby, whilst still at school. After friends within the dancing circle persuaded me to send a demo disc to Maestro Records, I am pleased that my music has become well known and enjoyed throughout the U.K.

Married to Carole since 1979, we have a grown-up son and daughter. In 2013 we moved to the Staffordshire Moorlands where I particularly enjoy walking our dogs Sam and Heidi, when I often work out musical arrangements in my head!

Carole and I have always had a love of all types of music and many of the tracks on my CDs start out as ideas discussed between us before we go on to record them at our own studio. Carole provides the vocals on our CDs including the very popular tracks “The Boy Does Nothing” and "Could I Have This Dance" and "You're Never Too Old To Love".
